Alignment Drill and Some Gratitude

5 Apr 2020 by Kyle Sabot

Good Morning Everyone!

My apologies, I thought this went out on Wednesday. I guess TeamApp had a little April Fools Day hole in store for me.

I hope that this is something that helps you with alignment and gives you confidence when we can finally go outside and play some golf! https://youtu.be/CVb2oaEGkDw

I also wanted to pass along some thoughts I had that I was reminded of from a year ago. A very good friend of mine had passed away and his funeral was a year ago on April 1st. I had found out of his passing right after a particularly fun practice at Top Golf. When our mutual friend had called I was so excited to talk to him because of how awesome of a time I had that day with all of you and I had not spoken with him in a month or so. As you can imagine my joy quickly turned to shock and then deep sorrow. Thinking about him still brings that sorrow.

The next day, at our practice, I tried not to focus on it but instead escape in sharing the sport I love so much with you all. It’s what my friend Matt would have demanded from me. You all delivered for me in a way that I still very much appreciate. It was the hour and a half bright spot in my day that was filled with sadness.

I’m sure everyone there are a variety of emotions that everyone is feeling right now from sadness to fear even anger about where things are. You have every right to those emotions and I share many of them from time to time. I would ask that you make a little effort in your day to see what you can do that day that you truly love doing. Find that hour and a half “bright spot” and see if it makes a difference. I have a feeling it just might :)

Thank you all for the opportunity to coach you, it really has been a pleasure!

Stay positive and, as always, please feel free to reach out if for no other reason than to just say hi!
